Worry Time

A scheduled 15 minutes where the worry gets your full attention.

📖 5-minute read

Trying to stop worrying makes worry louder. Worry time flips it: you schedule 15 minutes a day when the worry gets your full attention — and outside that window, you gently postpone.

When a worry pops up during the day, jot it down and tell yourself 'this belongs in worry time.' At the scheduled time, sit with the list. Most worries have already faded; the rest get properly examined.

It sounds counter-intuitive but works because the mind stops fighting itself. The worry gets its slot, so it doesn't have to shout for attention all day.
